Who we are
Over 25 years of getting the list done.
Panda Handyman is a small, owner-run home improvement business. We work out of Havre de Grace, and our whole service area is Harford County — close enough that we are not quoting drive time into every job.
The work splits into two halves. Most weeks it is repair and maintenance: drywall patches, a leaking faucet, a soft deck board, gutters before the leaves come down. The rest is remodeling — bathrooms, kitchen refreshes, and basement finishing that run several weeks with permits and inspections. Same crew, same phone number, either way.
We are licensed by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC #166189) and carry liability insurance. Maryland requires an MHIC license for home improvement work, and you can verify ours — and any other contractor's — on the Maryland Department of Labor website.

Four commitments we actually keep.
We answer the phone
The most common complaint about handymen is that they never called back. We answer, give a scheduling window, and keep it — and if we are running late, you hear about it before the window, not after.
The price is the price
You get the number before we start. If we open a wall and find something unexpected, you hear about it and approve it before we go further.
We say no when we should
Roofing, electrical panels, main plumbing lines — work that belongs to a specialty licensed trade gets referred, not improvised. Turning down the wrong jobs is why people call us back for the right ones.
We clean up
Drop cloths down, dust contained, debris hauled out. The job is not finished until the space is usable again.
